Great Lakes Finishing has four lines: two automatic lines, one large manual line
to plate parts up to 10’ long and one barrel line. Our barrel line and large hoist
line are both manually operated, giving GLF the ability to plate a variety of parts
at any given time. This means that GLF can turn around your parts in a day’s notice
(with small expediting fee). Our normal turn around is 2-3 days.
We offer Hexavalent and Trivalent chromates. Hexavalent chromates (olive drab, black
and yellow) provide a high corrosion protection. Trivalent chromates (no chrome)
are provided to meet RoHS compliance. The Trivalent chromates we offer are black,
yellow, and clear. With a sealer, they can meet the same specifications as Hexavalent
chromates.
